Greetings to Happy Time Square Members:

Report for Super Sixth Anniversary Dance - January 14, 2012

What a SUPER anniversary dance celebrated with seventy of our own Happy Time members and forty three guests!  Seven visiting clubs were in attendance.  Visiting club, Swinging Singles from Shawnee marched to retrieve their banner.  Vic started our dance with a grand march and some great calling.  Judy and Vernon kept the dance in full swing with their lines and rounds.  Lynn Nelson called an excellent patter tip and Wade Morrow did a great rendition of Mike Hogan's "Pink Cadillac".  Vic announced that Lynn Nelson is now a member of our club.  It was great to see some of our new dancers joining in our celebration.

Many thanks to the decorating committee Rosalee Rainbolt and Edie Boehle for the awesome job in decorating.  Many red, yellow, black balloons, flowers and smiley faces were seen throughout the church.  Dave & Tonya Ketchum, Elsie Middleton, and Robert Mugridge greeted our guests.  Lynn & Sherry Brun, Linn & Bob Suderman kept our food table full.  Many thanks to members who brought food for our guests.  A special thank you to Tonya Ketchum for making a delicious sixth anniversary cake.  Thank you to Jim Boehle and Vernon Nelson for setting up and cleaning up before and after our dance.  A big thank you to our club photographer Jerry Henley who took pictures during the dance and our group photo after the dance.  (Click here to view group photo.)
