Greetings Happy Time Squares Members-

Many special moms were in attendance, remembered and celebrated as we danced and twirled around our squares to Vic's up-beat tips!  Judy did a fantastic job working double-duty providing both lines and rounds throughout the evening.

Once again Betty Guder's Team did a beautiful job providing support through set-up, decorating, refreshment table, and clean-up crew for the evenings' dance, decking the hall with lots of lovely flowers.

Two clubs marched at our Mother's Day Dance - Swingin' Singles stole a banner and Top-Kan Twirlers retrieved theirs.  Lynn & Sherry Brun reminded members of our own travel dance coming up Tuesday, May 21st to Kuntry Kuzzins.

Vic called attention to tonight's "message board" on stage, designed as always by Jim Boehle, and that Jim has not missed creating a special theme board in over seven years of dances.  You can view his handiwork  here.  Thanks Jim for your dedicated work!

We are in need of members who are able to donate a small amount of their time and ideas to volunteer for the fall lessons planning committee.  You would be working with Keith & Carol Noe and other HTS members developing and putting into action ideas to promote square dancing and recruit students for our next class.  This is a very important way to get involved and have a lot of fun at the same time!  Contact Keith & Carol at 785-887-6931.

Our next dance will be the Father's Day Dance, June 8th.
