Greetings Happy Time Squares Members-
Yee Haw! Our Hillbilly Hoedown was a great time! A number of us were dressed in our finest Hillbilly duds, and many folks seemed to enjoy the casual dress for the evening. Vic called some wonderful tips ( in spite of the moonshine!) with Lynn Nelson stepping in to call a tip as well. Judy kept us a jiggin' and stompin' to some Hillbilly styled line dances. And thanks again to Vernon for stepping in and cueing some rounds. We hope Julie is feeling better and able to be out and about again soon.
Thank you to Betty Anderson's Team for their work on the settin'-up, decoratin', takin' care of the vittles table, and cleanin' up for the evenings' hoedown. You folks did a fine job yessiree.
Thanks to all the folks who signed up for a job and food item to bring to the Boots, Bows and Barbeque. If you haven't signed up yet, someone will be contacting you soon to get you signed up!
Reminder that we have a demo scheduled at Brandonwoods Wednesday evening, August 21st at 7:00 p.m. Please let us know if you will be able to attend. We need at least one square but would like to have a few extra folks so we can trade out.
Our next dance is our special dance, the Boots, Bows and Barbeque, at the 4-H Fairgrounds Building 21 with lots of good eats and great dancing. Our next regular dance will be September 14 - The Ice Cream Social - and it will also be an Alumni/Reunion Dance. We're sending out special invitations to folks who haven't danced for a while to come back and say howdy and visit. Ya'll come!
